The University of Copenhagen foundation for medical students

The purpose of the foundation is to provide support for medical students. When allocating funds, the board places emphasis on the financial situation of the grant recipient and the grades he/she has achieved.

In addition, funding can be made available to support the scientific work of junior doctors, regardless of which university they graduated from, and for research into arthritis and cancer performed at the University of Copenhagen.

Funds are allocated to medical students on the basis of the following distribution formula: 60% to medical students at the University of Copenhagen, 27% to medical students at Aarhus University, and 13% to medical students at the University of Southern Denmark.

The minimum grant awarded is DKK 8,000.
