As an Associate Professor at the Department of Dentistry and Oral Health, I work with X-ray and other imaging tools for diagnostics of teeth and jaws. I am interested in both clinical and technical aspects of radiology. As a research area, I have a special focus on indications for the use of CBCT (3D scans) especially in connection with implant treatment. I am a dentist and have a PhD degree in dentistry. I have previously worked as a dentist in private practice.
My primary work is research in oral radiology as well as education of dental students, including supervision of research projects. I am also responsible for X-ray-related imaging software at the department. I have contributed to the development of teaching materials and guides as well as written textbooks for the dental staff. I also hold courses for dentists and dental assistants and act as a radiologist consultant for the primary sector.
