Update on bruxism and portable electromyography (EMG) assessment hands-on course

The aim of the course is to get updated scientific evidence based information of bruxism (definition, epidemiology, etiology, assessment, and management).

Target group

Dentists and researchers interested in bruxism (assessment, diagnostic and management options).

Course description

Lectures:

  • Latest scientific evidence supporting the actual concepts of definition, epidemiology, etiology, assessment and management of bruxism. 

Practical and hands-on:

  • Demonstration of how to use a portable EMG recorder combined with contingent electrical stimulation (CES) as a tool to help diagnostic, management and research on bruxism.

Number of participants

The course is designed for  2-15 participants.
