Research into infection and the immune system

Research into infection and the immune system at AU Health studies what triggers a wide range of diseases with the aim of developing new vaccines as well as treatment and preventive medicine. With the help of research we gain greater insight into how the human immune system works and which mechanisms are initiated when the human body is exposed to viruses, infectious diseases or forms of inflammation.
