I am a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Centre for Register-based Research, Aarhus University and a Visiting Researcher at the Department of Psychiatry, University of Cambridge. I am interested in studying the mental-physical health interface, particularly using data from administrative registers. My research concerns both the aetiology of co-occurring mental and physical health conditions and the consequences of such co-occurrences.
My Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowship is focusing on studying somatic multimorbidity in mental disorders. In addition to this, I am conducting a series of pharmacological and genetic epidemiology studies concerning the mental-physical health interface, including investigeting the potential effects of medications used for somatic conditions on the development and progress of severe mental illnesses.
