I hold a PhD in Health Sciences and have extensive clinical experience as a physiotherapist. As a researcher, I aim to contribute to optimizing the clinical pathways of patients with musculoskeletal conditions to ensure provision of high-quality, evidence-based, and cost-effective secondary health care services. This includes a patient-centered stratified approach to provide the right service to the right patient at the right time. 

My primary research field relates to how physiotherapists can contribute to optimize patient pathways with two areas being of special interest to me. One is to investigate and optimize the quality of using advanced practice physiotherapists in the health care system, and the other is to investigate if and how physical activity and exercise following elective surgery (primarily total hip arthroplasty) can enhance clinical recovery.
