I’m a researcher with a background in neuroscience, and I’m especially interested in understanding nerve problems, particularly a condition called small fiber neuropathy, which affects tiny nerves in the skin and cause various painful symptoms for patients. In my work, I study what might cause those conditions in different diseases by working on both lab-based and patient-related projects. The overall goal for my study is to identify novel treatment targets for neuropathic pain. I have plenty work experiences in lab techniques, including immunohistology, advanced microscopy, molecular experiments, stereological quantifications and behaviour studies.

My primary area of ​​responsibility is, with the benefit of my collaborations, to initiate and conduct research projects in studying peripheral neuropathy and neuropathic pain. Meanwhile, I also help guide and support bachelor’s, master’s, and medical students in their studies and research.
