As a PhD student, I am interested in skeletal muscle function. In my work, I am particularly interested in the metabolic and contractile consequences of thick-filament (myosin) activation by the naturally occurring compound of piperine.
I have a background in human physiology and have experience with different experimental approaches to studying in- and ex-vivo muscle function.
Arbejdsområder
My primary area of research is skeletal muscle physiology, including skeletal muscle contractility, metabolism, and their integration during exercise.
