Profile
I study neurological diseases, especially Parkinson’s disease and depression and investigate new radiolabelled PET tracers. In our group, we do preclinical research using animal disease models looking into the role of especially neuroinflammation and pre- and postsynaptic function.
Job responsibilities
I perform brain surgery, behavioural testing, in vivo PET imaging and postmortem tissue analysis to understand how these diseases develop and explore the potential of new PET tracers and treatments.
