Profile

I am a PhD student in HemeLab and have a Master's degree in molecular medicine. I work with evaluating dysplasia in myeloid hematological malignancies using a combination of artificial intelligence and imaging flow cytometry. So far, I have primarily focused on assessing the applicability of this technique to distinguish healthy and leukemic stem cells in bone marrow from acute myeloid leukemia patients. In addition, I am also involved in research concerning various subtypes of lymphoma. I have experience with laboratory work and data analysis (e.g., imaging flow cytometry, next-generation sequencing, immunohistochemistry), academical writing, teaching, and supervision.

Job responsibilities

My current primary area of responsibility is analysis of data acquired using imaging flow cytometry with the focus of distinguishing between healthy and malignant myeloid blood cells. This includes development and application of gating strategies, training and testing of artificial intelligence models, statistical analysis, and troubleshooting, among others. Moreover, I also contribute to and participate in various conferences and seminars within the field and enjoy teaching and supervision of students.
