Research
My main areas of research are acute stroke treatments, clinical trial methodology, quality of stroke care and prehospital stroke biomarkers. I have a special interest in brain protective therapies (Cerebroprotection) and have conducted and coordinated one of the largest prehospital cerebroprotective stroke trials in the world (RESIST).
