I have been gaining research experience in a highly specialised university hospital since 2010. In 2020, I started a part-time Master of Health Science (MHSc) to enhance my research skills, which has significantly improved my academic competencies and contributed to clinical research at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Aarhus University Hospital. I completed the MHSc in three years while working full-time.
The MHSc inspired me to further deepen my research focus, and in 2023 I started a part-time PhD programme focusing on medial patellofemoral ligament reconstruction (MPFLr) through three unique studies. This PhD project will develop both my academic and organisational skills, supported by international collaborations and my leadership role in managing a comprehensive research setup.
