I am emplioyed as an assistant professor at the Department of Public Health, Aarhus University, research unit for Nursing and Healthcare
My research is embedded within nursing and public health with a special focus on family mental health. Using interdisciplinary and evidence-based research methods, my goal is to gain an in-depth understanding of the mental challenges affecting family life. My research contributes to enabling families to achieve improved mental well-being and better overall health conditions.
As an assistant professor, I am responsible for teaching and supervising students, primarily in the MSc in Nursing, the Master's in Nursing, and Public Health Science.
I am also the course coordinator for the "Klinisk projekt" course, which is an elective in the 3rd semester of the cand.cur. program.
