I am a medical doctor currently training in clinical pharmacology. I am particularly interested in drug repurposing – exploring how existing medicines can be used to treat new conditions. My work includes clinical trials, both metabolism studies and randomized drug trials, as well as genetically informed drug discovery. I conduct research in migraine, including the role of hormones in the brain, type 2 diabetes, growth hormone, metabolism, and ketone bodies.
Job responsibilities
Medical doctor currently in specialist training in clinical pharmacology. Currently responsible for the conduct of a randomized clinical trial investigating migraine treatment. I am also involved in a clinical study on ketone bodies and insulin resistance, as well as genetically informed drug discovery.
