Research
My main focus is cancer epidemiology, with a particular focus on prognosis after cancer. I have a keen interest in identifying prognostic factors that can support the detection of individuals at risk of complications, cancer recurrence, decreased attachment to the labor market, or death. Currently, I focus on the impact of obesity on cancer prognosis, including its interaction with social inequality and comorbidity. I am deeply committed to investigating social inequality, both in the context of cancer and more broadly in the consequences of various diseases.
