My research is aimed at finding solutions for equine parasite control. This includes parasite surveillance and diagnosis, treatment, epidemiology, pathology, health and well-being, host/parasite interactions, and drug resistance.
I have taught Danish and American veterinary students as well as both undergraduate and graduate students in the US. Furthermore, I have served as Director of Graduate Studies at the University of Kentucky. My primary teaching responsibility at ANIVET is equine clinical veterinary medicine.
I provide consultancy support on all aspects of equine parasite control to a wide array of stakeholders, including authorities, veterinarians, horse owners, the pharmaceutical industry, and the diagnostic industry.
