As a PhD student I work in pediatric oncology. In my work, I am particularly focused on the pediatric immune system. I am a medical doctor from Aarhus University and have since 2017 conducted research in pediatric acute myeloid leukemia, including cytogenetics.
Job responsibilities
I conduct my research with blood samples from children with acute myeloid leukemia from Denmark and Norway as well as bone-marrow healthy, Danish children. I apply spectral flow cytometry and T cell receptor sequencing to the samples to investigate the reconstitution of the pediatric immune system af treatment with chemotherapy.
