My research is within prostate cancer with a particular focus on the development of novel molecular biomarkers. I study genomic alterations in DNA-repair genes through sequencing of blood and how these alterations affect patient treatment response and disease progression.
Additionally, I study the transcriptomic profile of the tumor and how a specific group of non-coding RNAs, circular RNAs, influence the aggressiveness of the tumor and disease progression.
2023: PhD degree in Molecular Medicine, Aarhus University, DK.
2020: Master of Science (MSc) in Molecular Medicine, Aarhus University, DK.
2017: Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Molecular Medicine, Aarhus University, DK.
Postdoc focused on translational cancer research. I primarily work with data analysis and coordinating laboratory work when patient samples need to be processed. I have experience with analyses of patient tissue, blood, and urine samples, particularly using total RNA sequencing and targeted germline sequencing. In addition, I supervise students, teach, and contribute to running our local biobank.
