I have had the pleasure of working for 5 years at the National Center for Cardiovascular Research (CNIC), where I learned to work in a team, I learned how to work with mouse hearts, which helped me to specialize in the field of histology.

In my research group, we work together to try to prevent heart attacks and look for new prevention treatments.

As a research technician it is essential for us to teach the new staff how the lab works to the new staff and teach them the procedures.

Our gruops colaborate with the Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Cardiovasculares (CNIC) in Madrid and the University of Cambridge to study smooth muscle cell function in atherosclerosis.

As a research technician, I have the responsibility of doing tasks in the laboratory, placing orders and above all, working in a group.
