Research

The research conducted by the group is divided into two interconnected branches. The first branch focuses on basic research, specifically investigating the structural and functional properties of receptors and transport proteins. These proteins are involved in vital biological processes, including heme scavenging, vitamin transport, and interactions between hosts and parasites. The second branch emphasizes translational research, aimed at developing platform technologies for the effective delivery of therapeutic compounds.
