Profile
I am a trained Biomedical Laboratory Scientist, and work with soft and hard tissue histology in the research laboratory at IOOS. In addition, I participate in the practical teaching of general and oral histology.
Job responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Histology laboratory:
-Cutting and sawing of hard tissue with and without implants, embedded in plastic.
-Cutting of soft or decalcified tissue, embedded in paraffin.
- Staining of sections
- Microscopy
- Photographing of sections
- Histomorphometry
Microscopy teaching of the 2nd semester in general and oral histology
