As a PhD student, I have a particular interest in neurodegenerative diseases, especially Parkinson’s disease. In my research, I have investigated early brain changes associated with this condition, as well as whether treatment with spinal cord stimulation can alleviate the freezing of gait experienced by some patients with Parkinson’s disease. I am a trained medical doctor and currently undergoing specialist training in neurology.
My primary responsibility as a PhD student is the day-to-day research activities related to my own projects. In addition, I contribute to colleagues’ projects by agreement.
