I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Aarhus University Hospital, and the Department of Clinical Medicine, Aarhus University. I hold a PhD in Health Science and a Master’s degree in Sports Science. My research primarily focuses on exercise as treatment for musculoskeletal disorders, particularly hip osteoarthritis. I have published in top-5 medical journals and received the Young Investigator Award at the Young Athlete’s Hip Conference in Oxford.
I conduct research in exercise and musculoskeletal rehabilitation and I have experience leading multicenter randomized controlled clinical trials in exercise therapy and hip osteoarthritis.
Besides my research activities, I also have an extensive teaching and supervisory portfolio, mentoring master's and bachelor's students and giving lectures.
I prioritise sharing my research through public media, including podcast, general-interest newspapers, live radio broadcast, and opinion pieces.
