Over 15 years of experience in dermatoepidemiology with a wide range of studies on the occurrence, risk factors, and prognosis of skin diseases. For example, I have contributed to increasing the understanding of the occurrence and risk factors for herpes zoster and the long-term health consequences of atopic dermatitis. I have helped strengthen epidemiological research by describing the research potential and validity of various Danish registries and developing guidelines for pharmacoepidemiology through the RECORD initiative.
My primary area of responsibility is epidemiologic research in skin diseases using registry data from Denmark and abroad.
