Johannes Wittig is a medical doctor and PhD fellow in resuscitation science at the Department of Clinical Medicine, Aarhus University and Department of Medicine, Randers Regional Hospital and is affiliated with the Research Center for Emergency Medicine, Aarhus University Hospital, Denmark. He has a background in pre-hospital paramedicine. Johannes is the Chairman of the Young European Resuscitation Council (Young ERC) and is the co-lead of the Young ERC Resuscitation Science Masterclass. His research interests are in CPR, intra-arrest ventilation, and in-hospital cardiac arrest.
