In May 2024, we held our first Public Cancer Event with approx. 500 engaged participants. We are repeating the success this year and we need your participation to ensure another insightful evening.

We are therefore inviting you to the Public Cancer Event 2025 (Kræftforskningsaften 2025)

When: 30th April 2025

Where: Per Kirkeby Auditorium, Bartholins Allé 3, 8000 Aarhus C

Time: Doors open 17.30 – programme starts at 18.30

The Public Cancer Event 2025 will, through a series of inspiring lectures from researchers at Aarhus University and Aarhus University Hospital, focus on some of the groundbreaking cancer research conducted in Aarhus. We hope that the lectures will promote and inspire dialogue among researchers, doctors, patient associations, and the public.

This evening offers a rare opportunity to meet those who are at the forefront of cancer research and treatment. Participants can thus gain first-hand knowledge of how research is conducted and, for example, transferred from the laboratory to the current situation of patients. This year’s programme will include talks on topics such as radiation therapy, rare cancers, patient perspectives and cancer prevention.

We therefore invite patients, relatives, politicians, citizens, and the industry representatives to an evening with some of the sharpest minds in cancer research at Aarhus University and Aarhus University Hospital.

Please note that the event will be in Danish.

Registration on a "first-come, first-served" basis: via the "Sign up" tab at the top of this page.
