585 people were gathered in the Main Hall on Wednesday 24 June to celebrate the new doctors as they graduated from the Faculty of Health Sciences.
Ellen-Margrethe Hauge has taken up a five-year clinical professorship at Aarhus University and Aarhus University Hospital. She conducts research into changes in bone tissue in connection with chronic rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.
Niels Henrik Hjøllund has been appointed professor at Aarhus University and the Regional Hospital West Jutland. In his professorship he will continue to develop a system that collects the data reported by patients themselves.
Susanne Wulff Svendsen is the new clinical professor of occupational medicine at Aarhus University and the Regional Hospital West Jutland. She conducts research into physical occupational injuries.
Four of the nine researchers from Aarhus University who have received a Sapere Aude Starting Grant in 2015 come from Health. The grants are awarded to a number of Denmark's most visionary and trendsetting researchers.
