A new research centre at Aarhus University and Aarhus University Hospital opens today. The centre aims to find out why half of all diabetics develop what is know as neuritis, an inflammation of the nerves.

Bjarne Møller-Madsen from Aarhus University and Aarhus University Hospital has been elected as president of EPOS (European Paediatric Orthopaedic Society). He was elected to the post at the association's annual congress in Marseille in April.

A new study by researchers from Aarhus shows that the sleep hormone melatonin improves human bones, and reduces body fat mass in women at risk of osteoporosis.

For the first time, the School of Dentistry at Aarhus University appears in the international university ranking list QS World University Rankings. The school has entered the list in a prestigious twenty-third position.
