As a senior consultant at Steno Diabetes Center Aarhus, I conduct research on the links between obesity, diabetes, and cancer. I study how to prevent cancer and diabetes and improve treatment for people living with both conditions. I am a specialist in pathology and hold a PhD in breast cancer survival. I lead national and international research projects that use health data to improve treatment of cardiometabolic diseases and cancer.
