I am a cardiologist at Aarhus University Hospital. I specialise in pulmonary hypertension, heart failure, and precise assessment of heart function using invasive pressure measurements. I hold an MD and a PhD.
Extensive expertise in invasive hemodynamics, pulmonary vascular disease, and heart failure. I have accumulated many years of experience in both clinical and research settings. My research interests encompass hemodynamics, exercise physiology, and heart failure, especially heart failure with preserved ejection fraction, and pulmonary vascular disease.
I work internationally on heart and lung research, including projects on heart failure (Mayo Clinic, USA), exercise physiology (PEX-NET), and pulmonary hypertension (Japan, Poland, UK).
My main responsibility is with the heart failure team at Aarhus University Hospital, focusing on patients with pulmonary hypertension and invasive evaluations of unexplained breathlessness.
