I am a guest researcher at Aarhus University, hold a PhD in Oral Radiology and have my primary employment as associate professor at Santa Maria Federal University-Brazil.
My research focus on imaging diagnosis, particularly CBCT and MRI, emphasizing accuracy and decision-making while reducing radiation. Furthermore, I explore 3D printing for clinical and educational applications.
My work integrates clinical and technical radiology to enhance diagnostic precision and improve dental education.
My research focuses on imaging diagnosis, particularly CBCT, emphasizing diagnostic accuracy and decision-making while minimizing radiation exposure. I also explore 3D printing for clinical applications and dental education.
Recently, I have joined efforts at the department’s section of radiology to expand MRI research, primarily focusing on ex vivo imaging and the conspicuity of anatomical structures, dental materials artifact evaluation, and TMJ assessment.
As a guest researcher at the university in Aarhus, my work areas are limited to conducting research and engaging into research collaborations with colleagues at Aarhus University and my home institution.
Currently, at Aarhus University, I perform research on MRI, primarily focusing on ex vivo imaging, artefact evaluation, and TMJ assessment.
