Profile
As a biostatistician I'm interested in developing statistical methods but also in their applications within health science research. Interdisciplinary collaborations are therefore a natural part of my work.
Research
I work with statistical methods primarily within the areas of causal inference og time-to-event analysis. Of particular interest is the theory of estimation of causal parameters and the corresponding uncertainty.
Teaching activities
I teach basic and intermediate courses in statistics at our health science educations and medical doctor education. By means of interactive tools in my teaching, I try to make complex methods more available to my students.
I am also an external examiner at health science educations and medical doctor educations at other universities in Denmark.
Job responsibilities
I am the head of studies for our health science educations at Health and also chair of the corresponding study board. Further, I am the treasurer for the Danish Statistical Society.
