As a biostatistician, I am interested in both the development of statistical methods and, to a great extent, their application in health science research.
I work with statistical methods primarily within time-to-event data, comparison of measurement methods, and causal inference. Among other things, I am interested in prioritized comparison of different event types and estimation of causal parameters for a subpopulation.
I teach basic and advanced statistics courses in the PhD program at Health. I often use the flipped classroom method, where the traditional lecture is replaced by instructional videos and interactive teaching.
I collaborate with several researchers at Aarhus University Hospital.
