I'm a dentist and PhD student exploring how simulation technologies like virtual and mixed reality can improve surgical education. I focus on how these tools impact learning, how users engage with them, and how we can push the technology further. My goal is to make surgical training more effective, accessible, and exciting for both students and professionals.
I research how simulation can enhance surgical education, including testing how the technology works, what users experience, and how well it aids learning. Additionally, I teach dental and dental hygiene students in local anesthesia and oral surgery. I’m passionate about creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences, and I actively bring new technology and research insights into the classroom.
