I am an Assistant Professor specializing in orofacial pain. My academic work focuses on chronic pain mechanisms, referred pain, and the intersection between temporomandibular disorders (TMD) and primary headaches. In my clinical practice, I work exclusively with patients suffering from chronic orofacial pain. With extensive experience in research, teaching, and clinical practice, I am committed to advancing knowledge in the field and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.
My research investigates the underlying mechanisms of chronic orofacial pain with two main focus areas:
1) Mechanisms of referred pain
2) Headache and orofacial pain mechanisms
My primary responsibilities encompass clinical practice, research, and education in the field of orofacial pain, covering both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
