I hold a master's degree in public health science from Aarhus University and have an interdisciplinary methodological profile with a focus on quantitative methods and a broad perspective on health. I have extensive experience in data processing and analysis and am motivated by working with complex problems.
In my PhD project, I use register-based data to investigate how psychiatric and neurodevelopmental disorders in childhood affect school-related outcomes, including well-being, academic performance, and absenteeism. Previously, I have investigated reproductive patterns among individuals with epilepsy. My goal is to contribute to a better understanding of these complex conditions and support the development of more targeted interventions.
I have experience teaching epidemiology and biostatistics at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. In my teaching, I strive to make complex topics accessible by creating an engaging learning environment where students actively participate and receive constructive feedback, both in lectures and in supervisory settings.
