Trying to improve health of patients with inflammatory arthritis by engaging in drug development and biomarker studies, clinical research and development of treatment guidelines, teaching medical students and young doctors, and shared decision making in daily clinical practice.

The Kragstrup lab at the Department of Biomedicine focuses on using advanced human in vitro models for pioneering arthritis drug development and biomarker discovery. We collaborate academically and offer research services to pharmaceutical companies.

The Rheumatology Section at the Regional Hospital of Silkeborg is committed to enhancing patient care through quality assurance projects leveraging big data from electronic medical records for epidemiological studies and pharma-driven and investigator-initiated studies.
