Info about event

Time

Saturday 15 September 2018, at 00:00 - Saturday 22 September 2018, at 00:00

Location

Isola di San Servolo, Venice, Italy

This Advanced Course will address some of the major challenges inherent in connecting different levels of analysis, from genes to pathways, to cells and circuits, that is required to understand how genetic variation ultimately leads to behavioral and cognitive phenotypes.

Examples of specific topics that will be addressed include Nextgen sequencing, genetic association and eQTL analysis, single cell and multi-scale analyses from genomics and transcriptomics to physiology and circuits, methods for measuring chromatin structure and related epigenetic landscapes, modern mouse genetic mapping, IPSC-derived in vitro systems, and methods for systems level analysis, such as gene networks.

This course will have speakers from all over the world representing universities like Princeton University, Columbia University, and Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research.
