CRISPR Focus Group

The CRISPR Focus Group will host four monthly sessions per semester, each featuring two talks by researchers at various career stages. These sessions are designed to foster collaborative discussions and share knowledge across disciplines. We aim to create an inclusive environment that appeals to a broad range of research areas, united by a shared interest in developing and applying CRISPR-based technologies.

By connecting researchers within a dynamic scientific community, the focus group seeks to accelerate innovation and drive progress in the field of genome engineering. The initiative will bridge basic and translational research, featuring presentations highlighting groundbreaking scientific discoveries and transformative projects with translational potential.

This effort will support the continued implementation of CRISPR techniques in the biomedical sciences at Aarhus University and Aarhus University Hospital. We welcome researchers from all disciplines to join us in advancing the boundaries of CRISPR technology.

The CRISPR Focus Group will help advertise CRISPR-related events in Aarhus. Please do not hesitate to contact us so we can share your CRISPR event within the focus group and on our webpage.

Emil Aagaard Thomsen and Camilla Blunk Brandt, Department of Biomedicine, Aarhus University
