Come to the annual meeting of the Personalised Medicine Network

On 8 November, the Personalised Medicine Network will hold its second annual meeting. The programme includes presentations by top researchers from Denmark and abroad.

The annual meeting for Network for Personal Medicin is held on 8 November 2022. Deadline for registration is October 24.

The annual meeting of the Personalised Medicine Network features multiple national and international keynote speakers, poster presentations and flash talks, addressing diverse aspects of the field. Participants at the meeting can look forward to hearing about the genetics of depression, the development of biomarkers in the treatment of prostate cancer, breast tumour initiation and progression, and the development of personalised medicine for immunodeficiencies through targeted gene correction.

The annual meeting will be held on 8 November in AIAS, and will be opened by Vice-Dean for Research Hans-Erik Bøtker and the chair of the network, Professor Anders Børglum of the Department of Biomedicine.

This year’s keynote speakers are:

  • Professor and Director of the Big Data Institute at University of Oxford Cecilia Lindgren,
  • Professor Andrew McIntosh, University of Edinburgh
  • Assistant Professor Therese Sørlie, University of Oslo, head of the Department of Cancer Genetics at Oslo University Hospital.

About the Personalised Medicine Network

The network has been established to support Danish and international research and research-based teaching, and to promote the spread of new knowledge to patients and society. The network covers a wide field across the university’s faculties and Aarhus University Hospital, and incorporates regional, national, and international initiatives.
