The animal facilities have experience of breeding high-quality laboratory animals, as well as carrying out animal experiments. The animal facilities are open to external research groups and companies that wish to carry out laboratory animal breeding and biomedical research.

The Department of Clinical Medicine has several animal facilities located adjacent to the various research facilities. It is possible to house a range of different species here.
