I am an Assistant Professor specializing in physiotherapy, cognitive neuroscience, and neurophysiology. My research focuses on pain, body awareness, and use-dependent plasticity. I am particularly interested in exploring the neurobiological mechanisms that connect extensive sensorimotor and cognitive training—such as musical and singing training—with the development, maintenance, and modulation of chronic pain, as well as interoception.
